Hello! I’m Attorney Tiffany Ann Jones and I am so excited about our potential partnership for your legal glow-up!
Most attorneys offer “Free Consultations” without really explaining what it is (I used to be one of them). You know the saying , “You get what you pay for”? Well, with Free Consultations . . . you often get what you pay for. If you’re looking for an answer to a legal question - a free consultation is not where you will find it. Typically, you’ll learn very little—if anything—about your legal issue. This is because these shorter free consultations are only enough time for an attorney to:
(1) Ascertain whether or not the legal issue is in her areas of practice; (2) Explain the things which ethically must be covered before any representation is entered into; and (3) Generally explain the next steps if the client were to retain the attorney.
Although I find it most beneficial to start client relationships with an “is it worth it” call, I do offer a limited number of free 10 minute Discovery Calls each week.
The Discovery Call is our opportunity to consider if an attorney-client relationship could be formed and what that relationship could or would entail. No legal advice can be provided.
During our discovery call I will:
(1) Explain how the attorney-client relationship works here at Sua Sponte Law, PLLC;
(2) Ask you who the people and entities are who are involved in your legal matter in order to perform the conflict check needed to ensure we can ethically represent you in this matter;
(3) Briefly discuss your legal need to verify the need described is in one of my practice areas; and
(4) Generally for us to both decide if we are a good fit to work together on your matter.
In order to be able to give education as to the law on a general legal topic I require a paid consultation, an “is it worth it” call.
In order to be able to give legal advice on a specific situation I require a clear attorney-client relationship be created and reduced to a signed writing in the form of a Representation Agreement.
A Discovery Call with Tiffany does not include any legal advice and the mere scheduling of a Discovery Call does not create an attorney client or prospective attorney-client relationship. Unsolicited details sent to any email listed on this site or via this website will not be treated as confidential.

Paid consultations include everything in a Discovery Call but can be scheduled for Microsoft Teams or via other video conferencing technology as desired.
Before your paid consultation I will: (1) send you a questionnaire regarding your legal need (typically completed prior to scheduling); (2) have reviewed the questionnaire; (3) so long as questionnaire was completed I will conduct a conflict check based on the details supplied; and time permitting will also: (4) review documents that were sent; and (5) conduct brief preliminary research to be able to make the most of our time.
During the consultation we will discuss specific facts and the substance of your legal need.

As an attorney, I'm always looking for ways to support more clients. One way to do that is by offering unbundled legal services. Unbundling means breaking legal representation into separate, distinct tasks—think of it as an à la carte approach to legal help. Instead of handling an entire case from start to finish, I can assist with just the parts you need. You get to decide how much or how little help you want, based on your comfort level and budget.
Unbundling is also known as “limited scope representation,” “limited scope legal assistance,” “limited assistance representation,” or “discrete task representation.” While the terms may vary, they all refer to the same practice.
Some commonly unbundled legal services include:
Advising on court procedures and courtroom behavior
Coaching on strategy or role-playing
Collaborative lawyering
Conducting legal research
Document review
Drafting contracts and agreements
Drafting pleadings, briefs, declarations, or orders
Ghostwriting
Making limited appearances
Negotiating
Mediation
Online dispute resolution
Organizing discovery materials
Preparing exhibits
Providing legal guidance or opinions
With unbundled legal services, clients receive the benefit of professional legal expertise while only paying for the specific services they need. Courts also find that clients using unbundled services are often better prepared, which can save valuable time and resources compared to those navigating the legal process entirely on their own.
If you have any questions about unbundled legal services or full-service representation, let’s connect—I’d love to chat and see how I can help!

Sua Sponte is a latin phrase which means “of their own accord”.
In law, it typically refers to actions being taken by a judge without being requested by a party.
But the first time I heard the phrase sua sponte was years before I became an attorney.
My husband, a Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment, introduced me to Sua Sponte. Sua sponte, the motto of the United States Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, represents the Rangers’ ability to act on their own accord.
In business (and life) the ability to act on your own accord is part of the beauty of our freedoms and where the room for both expensive errors and excellence exists.
The mission of Sua Sponte Law is to partner with businesses and individuals to empower them to secure their own excellence and avoid the expensive errors (to do business better).
There are no guarantees in life or law but typically slow is smooth and smooth is fast.

I’m admitted to practice law in Alabama, Florida, and a handful of federal courts across the southeast.

That’s a great question and I would love to tell you!
The consumer contract consultation is less than the business contract consultation because the needs, goals, and concerns of each are different.
Businesses use contracts to accomplish a task and make money while consumers use contracts only to accomplish a task.
Because the analysis is different the rate is different.

Defamation is when someone makes a false statement about another person or business that damages their reputation. Under Florida law, defamation can occur in two forms: libel (written statements) and slander (spoken statements). To win a defamation lawsuit, the person or business bringing the claim must prove several things:
A False Statement: The statement must be untrue. If the statement is true, it's not defamation, no matter how harmful it might be.
Publication: The false statement must be made to someone other than the person being defamed. If the statement is private, it’s not considered defamation.
Harm to Reputation: The statement must harm the reputation of the person or business. This could mean damage to their personal life, career, or business dealings.
Fault: In most cases, the person making the statement must be at fault. This can mean they were negligent or acted with "actual malice," especially if the defamed person is a public figure.
It's important to note that Florida also has a statute of limitations, meaning you have a limited time—usually two years—to bring a defamation lawsuit after the statement was made. Additionally, certain defenses, like truth or privilege, can protect the person making the statement from liability.
If you believe you or your business have been defamed, it’s important to consult with an attorney who can help assess your situation and determine the best course of action.

A reputation counsel is a trusted advisor who specializes in helping clients safeguard and enhance their public image. They understand just how crucial it is to maintain a positive reputation and offer support with everything from brand protection strategies to handling negative comments online.
The primary goal of reputation counsel is to create an environment where your reputation stays as secure, glowing, and positive as possible. Some of the services a reputation counsel can provide include:
Responding to negative reviews and addressing any issues that may have led to them.
Crafting a media strategy, which may include monitoring online mentions, responding to press inquiries, and promoting uplifting content.
Negotiating with parties involved in disputes to achieve a fair and peaceful resolution.
Identifying any legal risks or loopholes that could put your reputation at risk and working with you to craft a strategy to mitigate that risk.
As an experienced reputation management lawyer, Tiffany is here to help you protect and elevate your reputation. She has worked with numerous clients on cases related to defamation, bullying, false advertising, invasion of privacy, and more.
Why Reputation Management Matters
Your reputation is one of your most valuable assets. A positive reputation not only boosts your social standing but can also open doors to new opportunities, business ventures, and growth. It is one of the most vital elements of any business—and one of the most vulnerable.
Online reviews can make or break your digital reputation, directly influencing your brand image and business. Positive reviews can draw potential clients in, helping your brand shine brighter in search engine results.
But it is not just happy clients who leave a mark on Google—negative reviews can also influence how others perceive you.
Often, negative reviews or press can appear first in search results, even if there’s a sea of positive feedback about you or your business. This can quickly undermine trust and tarnish your popularity, damaging your hard-earned reputation and your brand.

Contracts are essential to any business. They are integral in shaping relationships, transactions, and obligations. While it’s tempting to rely on templates or informal agreements, lawyer-drafted contracts provide unmatched value.
Here’s why they matter:
Clarity and Precision
A well-drafted contract ensures terms are clear and tailored to your needs. Tiffany will get to know you and your business to ensure your contract meets your business needs and goals. Tiffany will utilize precise language to eliminate confusion, ambiguity, and mitigate risk even in the event of a dispute.Legal Compliance
Contracts must comply with laws and regulations, which vary by industry and location. Tiffany works with you to ensure your contracts meet legal standards, minimizing risks.Risk Mitigation
Poorly drafted contracts expose your business to financial loss and legal liability. With over four years of experience in litigation Tiffany has litigated countless contractual issues. This first hand experience allows her to anticipate potential issues and include protections for your business in its needed contracts.Customization for Unique Needs
Generic (even some lawyer-drafted) templates often fall short. Tiffany may start from a shell or a template to keep the cost to you lower but she specifically tailors each contract to the unique needs of your business.Enforceability
A contract is only valuable if enforceable. Tiffany will ensure your agreements meet legal standards necessary for enforcement.Dispute Resolution
Disputes happen. Most contracts Tiffany drafts include clauses that protect you in the event of a dispute regardless of fault. These include provisions which require mediation and/or arbitration, in order to encourage resolution without resorting to litigation.Tiffany also ensures that your contract includes clauses to protect you in the event the dispute cannot be amicably resolved including attorney fees provisions and limitation of liability where legally permissible.
Benefits:
Avoid costly litigation.
